Welcome to A Brooklyn Dog’s Life, a blog about life in New York’s best borough with the world’s greatest dog, Laly the Wheaten Terrier.
In June 2009 I became a dog owner and life hasn’t been the same since. Before I knew it, Laly became a member of the family and we made up her pack. As an obsessed pet owner in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill, I was on a mission to discover everything dogcentric in the neighborhood and beyond.
A few years later, I’m still on this quest and started a blog for Brooklyn dog lovers. A Brooklyn Dog’s Life brings you finds, favorites, news and reviews so you and your dog can own this borough and city.

I forgot to mention another neat site, eddieeatsout.com, that gives dog’s-eye reviews of restaurants and bars. I’ve been acting as the Brooklyn reporter
Neat site. Thanks for sharing! Let me know if they expand to other areas of Bklyn and if you’re looking for reporters.
Hi there…found you through Twitter via @EddieEatsOut. Love your blog! We’ll be traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada later this year and I’m bookmarking your site for great dog-friendly spots in Brooklyn.
Give Laly a belly rub for us!
Happy trails! Can’t wait to read about your adventures on the road. Perhaps we’ll see you at our local dog run when you’re in town. Just added you to the blog roll. Belly rubs back to Gus!
What a great blog. I’m sure I will find lots of great info for my Frenchie, Pascal
